Women's Wellness Art Circles
Donna facilitates workshops that integrate intuition and the exploration of art materials and the creative process. Within a safe space facilitated by Expressive Arts and Intuitive Painting facilitator, artist and nurse specializing in mental health wellness, participants grow awareness and use the process of making art to create an opening for self expression. *Transformative soul work*
Accessibility: mobility and environmental access for manual and motorized wheel chairs.
You can expect:

Vision Board- Create, Collage and Paint Your Future
This workshop provides opportunities for experimentation and visual story telling. Paint, cut, tear, layer and paste. You will be lead through simple word exercises and visual prompts to envision and create meaningful aspirations and any thoughts or feelings you want to bring into your life. The facilitator uses a unique art healing circle format, which ensures a safe environment for creative joyful exploration to take place. All supplies included. If interested, bring along any inspiring images. No experience required.

Paint a Wacky Face
This workshop flips realism upside down and potentiates intuitive exploration to use acrylic paint to complete a whimsical character inspired by objects found in a junk drawer. All supplies included. Suitable for intermediate painting experience.

Personal Empowerment Expressive Arts Talisperson
Participants create a significant personalized symbol out of wood, fibres, clay, leather and embellishments. Donna Draper is a mental health nurse and certified Intuitive Painting and Expressive Arts Teacher. Sessions are gatherings that are soulfully therapeutic and full of creativity and connection.

From within a light spiritual environment we will experience the freedom of creativity and self acceptance while exploring personal power and acceptance within circle. We will have a bit of movement and some intuitive painting to warm up and then we shall gather our ideas and explore the mesmerizing process of creating your taliswoman (a significant symbol of your visions for growth within your personal power). There is a plethora of juicy supplies waiting for you to explore. Envision yourself creating a clay face with intuitive guidance. Imagine using your hands to fashion your taliswoman that has been imbibed with your chosen visual messages for your empowerment. You may glue, sew, paint, and/ or bead your own treasures to signify your growth and desires within a world that values your uniqueness.
Supplies are included and please feel free to bring along any special ribbons, fabric or embellishments which you may want to include in your project.
